In this page page you will find a collection of instruments that I have been producing or (will be producing in the future) for the Kontakt software sampler. You can download for free and use them for free. I’m going to be uploading them as they get finished. I do not know if this will happen once a month or once a year… Every time there is a new instrument available I will post it on Twitter and YouTube too.
Most of these instruments have been created in my studio, at home, for specific projects and “on the fly” during the production process of those projects. Hence the simplicity of the instruments, with no complicated or indecipherable functions. They have been very useful for me, I hope they’ll be useful for you too.
Instruments available:
TWANG GUITAR CHORDS
This patch contains a collection of strummed guitar chords both Major (blue keys) and Minor (green keys) triads. Two chords per tone.
Recorded at 24 bits and 44.1 kHz, using a Fender Stratocaster plugged into a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 interface. The effects have been added using Guitar Rig 5.
Full Kontakt 5.7 version or above is required to use this instrument.

THEREMIN
Emulation of a simple yet effective Theremin. Produced using a Yamaha Reface CS keyboard, five octaves have been sampled at 16 bits 44.1 kHz, using a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 interface. The TIME knob allows you to modify the duration of the transition between notes, or portamento.
The Theremin is a monophonic instrument, so it is not possible to play simultaneous notes or chords. A low-pass filter, delay and reverb effects have also been added.
Full Kontakt 5.7 version or above is required to use this instrument.

TUNED GLASSES
This Instrument emulates the sound that occurs when rubbing the edge of a glass using a wet finger. The sounds have been produced through FM synthesis using a Yamaha Reface DX synth. Three octaves have been sampled at 16bit 44.1 kHz, using a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 interface and Logic Pro.
The WOOBLE knob adds a small modulation effect, taking advantage of the “speed” parameter from the Flanger effect that comes with Kontakt. Also playable from the modulation wheel (control CC1).
